Serving Up Thanks & Treats!

Board Office staff joined our incredible Northeastern kitchen crew to dish out a warm Thanksgiving meal — plus a sweet turkey-themed cookie for each Jet! đŸĒđŸĻƒ

Thankful for the teamwork, heart, and Jet Pride that make days like this special. ❤ī¸đŸ’›

Mr. Fisher the NELSD Superindendent helping the NEES Preschool class!
✈ī¸ A Fisher Sighting in Pre-K!đŸŽŖđŸš‚

👀SPOTTED!👀

👏We've tracked him down! đŸŧđŸ›Šī¸Superintendent Fisher has been caught taking it old-school in Mrs. McKeever's preschool class with the baby Jets of Northeastern Elementary!đŸ“šī¸ It appears he's traded his gold crested wings đŸ›Ģ for a pair of wheels 🚃 as he derails from his usual railroad of tasks to blow off some steam with some of our little engines!🚂💛

Whether he was conducting the class or getting these students sidetracked, we don't know.🧐 All we do know is that we could not be more "freight"ful â™Ĩī¸ for his loco-motivation to keep our classrooms well-oiled and rolling through the day!đŸ›¤ī¸đŸĢ

NEES Bookmark Winners learn about voting!
Voting Creativity Shines Through at Northeastern

🎨 Northeastern Elementary, Middle, and High sSchool students showed off their creativity and learned voting skills in our recent bookmark-esigning competition! đŸ—ŗī¸

Northeastern students grades 1-12 had the opportunity to design a bookmark based on their interests to be voted on by their classmates! Students were able to design anything they wanted and show off their interests. ⭐ī¸

Students could participate and vote for their favorite designs to practice their voting skills going into the November elections! 📝

🏆 Winners of the elementary competition received a certificate and goodie bag, and our middle and high school winners received gift cards! Their designs will be in the library 🔜

Congratulations to our winners!
